A little pricey, but you can use your stock tank

I had Hagerty on my modified Z for 20k, at $320/yr.
I also have a 1962 Impala convertible - 409 - 4sp. Hagerty wants $320 /yr at $30k
Grundy wants $230 /yr at $30k
I'm going with Grundy

Oh man! Haven't been on the site for a while, and just saw this. John was with us when we started this site, and with us on a few sites before this. Very sad RIP

You could get one of these kits, and put the motor in it. exomotive.com/eco-exo

Love the subliminal pics

Also make sure all your connections on the hazard switch are good. These can sometimes do weird things

It looks good. Take it for a drive, point out anything you don't like, and start at $5000. You should be able to buy it for $5800 - $6000.

My car is for sale, I can email you more info if you want.

What do you mean by "swapped preferred" ,swapped to what?

As stated the engine is offset, but if one side of the block is closer to the firewall the other side, the engine is cocked. You were supposed to slot the mounts, so you can move the block back or forward, and of course to make it straight.

I do, but not for 13K. I have been asking for 20K, but would take 18K, email, or PM me for more info.

Sorry for introducing that guy to you Mike, it's great that you finally got your parts back! I never got my JTR V8 book back from him, but I did get another, so no biggy

With a T56 it will be around 1800RPM at 70 mph
-
Welcome! Engine looks great in there!

I found these guys in the Atlanta area: http://www.americanrestomods.com/1972-datsun-240z-restomod/

This what JTR's web site says:
Transmission Crossmember, $65
specify if for T56 or T5, 700-R4, Turbo 350.
T56 crossmember is 1" lower in center, and requires hammering sides of transmission tunnel.
280 Z car requires flattening of floor to bolt the crossmember to the floor.
