  1. Is the noise filter enabled. I have MS2. When I disabled it I had ignition issues above 3000rpm. I realize you have MS3 and said you didn't think you had noise issues. I didn't think I did either until I disabled it.
  2. On my 260 the turn signals are disabled when the flasher is turned on. The turn signal circuit is routed through this switch. Unplugging this switch will also disable the turn signals on my car. Not sure if its the same on the 280. Your switch may be the problem.
  3. I work in Oakland. Live in the Tri-valley area. The shop you got the wheels from is in San Leandro?
  4. I have a 260 that I converted to a 5 speed. I think there is 2 safety relays. The wiring diagram is hard to read unless you increase the size of it. I ran a wire from the ignition switch to the coil side of a relay and hooked up the main power to the starter solenoid from the battery (fused). The ignition switch is known to cause a voltage drop over the years along with other factors.
  5. Have you tried output test mode for the coil? I confirmed the coil driver circuit was working on mine that way.
  6. Things are going good. Just got the 260 up and running with the L28et and MS2.
  7. Nice. Did you sell the other the other 240 shell? I saw it listed in Craigs list a while back.
  8. You can do just that. The weld will rust though. Unless it is coated also. I have done it a number of times. It's not ideal but it if you want to tie into an existing mild steel exhaust system like I did it will hold up just fine.I used E70s wire in my MIG. I have also TIG welded mild steel to 304 stainless with er308 rod. It works. Again its not ideal. Some turbo manifolds use mild steel flanges with stainless runners with good results. I wouldn't worry about it if you had it done. Just my .02
  9. What's up? Sorry to hear you wrecked your other car.No stickers on this one?
  10. No its not. It may be an age thing though. You can do them with a manual tranny too .
  11. Also depends if you use a short or long nose differential housing?
  12. This is an early model 74 260. Its the same mustache bar as my 73 240 was.Click on this link> http://s1096.beta.photobucket.com/user/ozzzzz1/library/260z%20rear%20diff%20from%20sti
  13. How much HP are you making or plan on making? If memory serves the c4 has an aluminum differential housing and a dana44 doesn't it?
  14. The stock manifold is a t3. The t3/t4 hybrids should bolt up to the manifold without an adaptor. I guess I missunderstood what you were looking for. I have a t4 turbo and had to use an adaptor . Make sure the turbo you get has a internal wastegate.
