If your trying to find a replacement ECU for your GSX then hunt for an EPROM ecu at the junkyard. They sell for about 50 at the yard and anywhere up to 250 on ebay. The reason being is that the EPROM is a chip on the ecu that is able to adjust the fuel trims etc that the ecu is reading. BTW DSMTooooners is a joke. IM me on AIM if you have any other questions. Like the title says, I cant find the diagram that I believe was made in CAD with the difference in the 240z stub axle and the 280z stub axle. If anyone could link me to it then it would be greatly appreciated. I also am trying to find a set of 27 spline stub axles. Thanks in advance. Braxton

Has anyone done this because unlike a LS1 tank that is plastic the LT1 is metal and would be sumped easily. The tank also looks to be flat on the top and would seem to make for a much easier mounting. Just a thought that came across when I was looking at a local fbody forum.

You would drop even more weight when you have to remove the damn engine every 30k miles or 5 track runs to replace the apex seals.

Isnt the length of the "new shafts" the same as the shorter shaft?? Also from the looks of it if I found a low mileage q45 then I *COULD* reuse the short side shaft to put together this custom axle. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks in advance. Braxton

So your saying that you didnt have to use a hub spacer on your setup?? I guess I am confused as to why you need one at all if the spacing is correct.

Does anyone have the spacer measurements that are needed to run a 5lug 300zx hub with the vented 300zx rotors and the s12w calipers?

Are you running coilovers on that setup and what brakes do you have up front?? I am trying to figure out my maximum backspace with stock suspension and toyota 4piston calipers up front. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. Braxton

I havent personally ever seen a 2.0 wideblock at the yards or even in person and I have been serious in the DSm community for about 5 years now of engine building and 6bolt swaps. Good Luck finding one and if you need any parts lemme know and I can ship them to you from the Dallas area. Also the tranny will be the issue unless you hang onto your old StarQuest tranny.

Has anyone else done this??? What rear disc brake was used with the conversion?? Also does anyone know what the year/make/model the 11.38" solid rotor is originally from so that I can get a lifetime warrenty from O'reilly's???
