You will not be disappointed with the Wiring specialties harness as it is well built. I just received my new harness from them for my 2J transplant, and am very happy with the quality work.

Would something like this help with the noise? Not a cheap fix but possible help.

What cams/specs are you planning on using? I have recently been looking at cam companies looking for something in the first upgrade stage of 264* .

Looking forward to seeing the results in the video to come ^^^.

IMO, I believe that there is no market for a bolt-on air ride. BUT I do believe there might be a small niche for one's who want a cup-kit for their coilovers.
+ 1, I think this would be of interest to some of us here with coil overs.

Very nice looking intake there Ariel. I see you have something for a 2jzgte as well. Would that fit nicely with the angle into an S30? Will be in need of one sooner than later with my build.

I would say the vast majority have bought these economical cars to have fun with because they have been for the most part good bang for the buck. I certainly don't want to see these affordable fun cars spiral out of control so that the average beater is in the neighborhood of $20k just to start. I bought my 240z to personalize and pound on.

And one of my favorite cars I will never own:
And this interesting hybrid:

Another little well handling car, Simca 1200 S

I bought one of those from Mach V Motorsport and used it on my '91 Talon TSI back in '99. I believe it was referred to as the Frankenstein jr. I couldn't give you a current day price evaluation though.

That Getrag 6spd from the supra is very costly, ($5-6k) on the used market. I can't imagine many are using this. I certainly could not afford that price for just that one piece of the "parts to get" laundry list I have, so settled with a completely rebuilt/upgraded R154 as timing and luck would have it.

Yeah hate to say it, but $1500 isn't going to get you much of a clean s30 here in Cali.

Wasn't the finned covered R200 lsd offered close to the middle months of 1987? I thought I remember reading here they did not begin at the first few months in '87. I could be very mistaken however.

The car looks great in that color with the CCW's and very aggressive with those big meats in the back

I like them. Put some Volk TE37 wheels on it with the right stance =

Nicely done. I have been considering a high flow cat after seeing this.

Can't wait to see this car moving in videos.

Where is a good place to get an r154?
usual suspects, Ebay, Craigslist especially larger cities and states.
Don't give up on the good old L28et though as it bolts right in and will check off your want list as well.

^^^ Looks good SSparko. I had some fitment work to do on the front top of the doors to fender gap, but my car had been hit pretty hard in the rear passenger side way before I ever owned it. I currently have 265/40r/ 17" intended for the rears with coilovers and weld in camber plates. I would like to squeeze in 275" rears if possible though. What suspension are you using? Any more pics of the rear interior, sub install, etc??
