  1. Man i wish their clocks had illuminated dials.
  2. I have the same intended setup as you, but my build is still a long ways from being complete. Somewhere I came across where user mtnickel said he was also using the same setup, here are his responses to some questions I had via PM: "I'm honestly just on econo semi metallic pads for the street. Excellent initial bite. For the street I think it'd be hard to fade them, at least the way I drive. If I were to track, id get a different set, but for street and autocross they are likely fine. Centric cheapo. sorry that's not more help. May help that I rebuilt rears and greased them all nicely. I wondered if those that complained of bias were on an old crusty set that may be ceased." Then a couple months later.... "Now that my brakes have bed in a bit more, I seem to have lost a little rear balance . Even all the way rear the front's lock up first. Perhaps the front pads had more glazing, or the fact that they are a much larger pad area means they broke in slower. Braking is still very good, but i'm a little disappointed i don't have enough bias to lock to the rears." I think if some specialty pads are found and used it can be a pretty well biased setup... just sourcing those pads, if at all possible, is going to be the biggest challenge. Edit: '82 rear brakes are different than the '81 rears mtnickel and I were discussing - looks like there are plenty of pad options for you.
  3. The rotors are also directional, so you'll have two different P/N's for left and right rotors.
  4. Awesome! Love the battery box idea - I was thinking about something similar, but yours is a much cleaner design. Looks great. Would you be willing to share what struts you went with for the hood? Size & force?
  5. Looky what arrived today! Thanks again Steve! BC "Normal" height DR's, 4 bolt extended studs. Ordered on 10/10, Arrived on 10/27. If you guys are interested, hit Steve up. Saved enough on these to cover rear tires.
  6. Or you could find a center console from a 72-73 - their shifter locations are further forwards.
  7. Just put in an order with Steve (ihiryu) for my DR's. Price was so good I can't imagine what a group buy discount would have been! If you've been following the Speedhut thread, you know he's a great guy to deal with. Now just to patiently wait a month for BC to make 'em...
  8. quit being clever. I really like dethtrp too.
  9. Count me for a 240 DR setup (Or BR if there's not enough interest in the DRs)
  10. I thought the # for the Z was 94, not 49? I'd be interested in a 4bolt extended stud option. I'd be interested if the DR's ever came to fruition. Last I inquired about them they were "in development"
  11. I was holding out until late November to see if they came up on a Black Friday sale, but if you're able to get a group buy I have no problem supporting you again! Very happy with my speedhuts!
  12. I'd be interested as well
  13. Thank you so much! I'll be starting a thread when I get past all the rust repairs
  14. Beautiful car! Have you had a chance to drive it yet? Curious how it handles with 245s up front.
  15. Got mine in! They're awesome.
  16. I'll be building one in a few months, I may entertain building an extra one while I'm at it.
