  1. Hey guys, I have been searching for a fuel tank sending unit for a while for my 75 280z. I figured it would be worth posting about. I've been working on the car for a couple of years now and this is one of the last things I need. I'm a bit tight on money in the moment to pay $250 for a new one. I'm hoping someone has one that they do not need. Please let me know. Thanks!
  2. Sorry about not doing it right the first time. I have a 75 280z. And I need a new head. I pretty much would like to know if there are any things that would change if my put an N47 head on my engine. Such as air flow? is it have a bed reputation or anything of sorts? I just want to be sure of what I've been working so hard to finish. Your comments are appreciated. Thank You.
  3. The car ran, but the intake valves were all sticking, so I pulled the head, And was advised it would break down everything if I put it in diesel fuel, so I did that to remove the valves. And at that point, I just figured I might as well pull the engine to clean and paint, and replace all of the gaskets. Wasn't quite necessary, just wanted to do it for my satisfaction knowing the car sat for ten years. Simply wanted to play it safe.
  4. A few nights ago, when I pulled the motor: IMG_7098 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr IMG_7102 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr IMG_7097 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr IMG_7095 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr IMG_7094 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr My S30 with my brothers Z31. Now awaiting a full gasket kit for the car, Cleaning everything the whole engine and bay. Just bought different high heat paints for motor and accessories & krylon flat black for bay. Hopefully it all turns out good. IMG_7126 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr

  6. It's been hard to keep up with this thread, So i'm just going to go ahead and post all of the pictures i've taken so far of the Z, And the progress i've made with it. Here are a couple random pictures: IMG_6846 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr IMG_6857 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr IMG_6703 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr
  7. Sorry for it taking so long to reply, Heres a picture of the interior: IMG_7081 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr
  8. Did a 3 step process on the paint, Used Turtle wax rubbing compound, Followed by Meguiars ultimate rubbing compound, & then waxed it. Let me know what you guys think. Before: IMG_6924 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr After: IMG_6926 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr The difference was night and day, I was able to see my own reflection off of it after this.
  9. So I picked up my second Z. A 1975 280z. I got my first 260z when I was 14, now i'm 17 and got this one. The car and myself are located here in Phoenix. Now about the car, it has 80,000 miles on the body. Sat for about ten years, since 2001. Car came with all kinds of paper work showing the work done throughout the years, & paint and all. I bought the car for $900, clean title. In my opinion, I got a good deal. But it's gonna take some TLC to get back it back to the position I want it to. Will post pictures of my progress. Starting with pictures from the day I got it. Day 1: IMG_6610 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr IMG_6612 by omar.sabillon.z@gmail.com, on Flickr
  10. Newbie question, but does my '75 280z fit 4x114.3 and 4x100 or just 4x114.3? An answer to my question would be greatly appreciated.
  11. If you don't mind me asking, How much did you pay for the 1J & what was your budget like to do the whole swap? Looking at different swaps. I would much appreciate the response to make my decision. Thank you.
