Wide body build thread! Fiberglass Mafia kit MOLDED
juliarosario posted a topic in Body Kits & Paint
Hi Guys! I am not super new to these forums but I also not a pro yet However, as far as I can see no one has posted any pictures or information about the Fiberglass Mafia Flare kit for the 240z, 260z, and 280z! I have been eyeing these fenders for as long as I've owned my Z and since I've had them for a while, it was finally time to send my car to my body work guy! When I first ordered the fenders I was a little wary of the fitment and quality because no one had really reviewed these fenders yet before. Well, here I am! After placing the order, I waited a couple months and then th- 35 replies

So i've got a 71 z with a 302 c4 combo in it and figured since it wasn't pure anymore i might as well play with the sheet metal too to accommodate some larger wheels/tires eventually probably a 17x9ish. I purchased these zg flares to just bolt on and then cut the fender to allow the bigger rubber http://www.zgfenderflares.com/ and started thinking about trying to fiberglass the zg flares to the body to create a small widebody similar to this car http://datsunfreak.deviantart.com/art/600hp-Silver-240Z-2-50121778 because it looks like the majority of the fender was left alone and only the flar

hey guys I currently have a stock 76 280Z and i was wondering if it would be possible to get 16x9 with a 15 offset on without the use of flares ( not a huge fan of flares ) im pretty sure i would need to get my fender rolled but i still need some more knowledge on this. If i could fit them what about tire sizes and etc ? Also i may lower the car with eibach springs in the next couple of months will i still be good without the flares then ? thank you for any help

Hey guys, I figured I may as well start a build thread for my late model 260Z. I am currently in the process of installing the new BC racing coilovers as well as working on a few areas of the brakes while I'm in there. I will also be installing flares this winter after my new 3-piece Revolution RFX wheels in 16x9. Below are a few pictures to get you up to date: Pictures of the coilovers right out of the box: Car on Jack Stands preparing to be disassembled for coilover install: Dirty Front Assembly Removed:

Like the title states I am in the market for some of the wide Marguen Shoukai flares and their 3 piece wing as well. If I don't get any bites on here I'll just end up ordering them through rhd but I figured I would try my luck here first!

I am trying to fit 28X10.5" slicks under my 240z. I spent a lot of time talking to folks who have installed screw-on flares only to have to re-cut due to not cutting enough the first time. I put them high-higher than most (and I hope I like it), but I got to this point working with MiKelly who cut a tire road racing and had to re-cut at least once. The top of the flare is 4" below the hard bend in the quarter panel near the rear of the quarter window. The following are photos from the hot rod shop doing the metal work for me while I'm out of town. The metal man is being great about sending

I have a 72 240Z with 6 liter LS2 and T56 6 speed. After the engine/trans install (by Dave - (Viperredls1z), we did a 4 wheel Willwood disc brake setup from Arizona Z Car and while I was doing that, I opted for the package with 5 x 4.5" lugs which gave me the option for larger tires and wheels. I got a set of wheels (11x17 rear and 9x17 front) and mounted Michelin 335/35-17 rears and 275/40-17 fronts. The car originally had hand built flares, but they were poorly done and in any case did not cover the larger tires. This gave me the perfect opportunity to do some paint and bodywork that I h

I had a chance to photograph Kevin Yeung’s extremely clean and well-executed 240z. I was an extremely excited to do this feature because I am working on a 240z of my own. Hi, has anyone had experience using these universal flares from ZCCJDM? I'm going to find out if they can do sizes similar to ZG's, metal on metal just has more appeal to me for some reason. ZG's look nice, but I must be OCD because all I can think about is the hacked up metal that would be lurking underneath them

Hey all, Recently i came across This yellow Z on Facebook, (Belongs to Classic Garage Co. Ltd. in Fukuoka Japan) and I can't figure out what fender flares (overfenders) it has. I've been going mad searching trying to figure out. the fronts are more than likely custom and as for the rears, they seem to be some G-nose kit flares. i'm more than likely wrong though. Wasabicars on Youtube covered the shop very quickly, and the first Z he does is the yellow one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG4nCY3UOcc&feature=youtu.be here is Classic Garage's link to it http://w
