Well I have decided on ITB for my 240z build. My triple Mikuni 44s sound cool, but the smell of gas in my garage is driving me nuts. My HVAC unit is right next to my car in my garage and the fumes seem to move into the whole house. I also think the mikuni 44s are a bit much for a stock 2.4L, and I never dialed them in perfectly. I bought the jenvy 45s, injectors etc.. from Datsun Spirit. I will probably do a haltech elite 750 ecu. I got a hoke trigger kit for my stock 240z pulley and will do some sort of cam sensor from the dizzy spot. Goal is to look basically period but be EFI.

Hi Gents, anybody of you running ITB´s in the Z ? Have ditched the triple weber 45´s and setup up the jenveys with an aftermarket ECU and wideband lambda. My question is at what AFR are you aiming at idle / part throttle and WOT ? not sure at what the engine likes so far. Have tuned some honda K20´s with the wideband and had them until 50% throttle at 14.7 and then slowly to 13.0 at full WOT. Maybe somebdy can shed some light ?

This is really cool, and way overdue for the marketplace. Most racers already ran -6 A/N individuals to Weber DCOE's from a fuel distribution log... Cost is comparable to new Webers, and the hidden TPS Option keeps everything away from prying eyes! http://www.jenvey.co.uk/products2/twin-throttle-bodies/dcoe-heritage-bodies/heritage-dcoe-twin-body-40-48mm-tdsxx Crap, thinking about this, I should likely have put this in Fuel Systems Sub Forum. Mods move if you like.

I scored on a set of 4 of these puppies along with an intake for a 351w. There are zero markings or stamps on them. They could be some cheapo copies, but the machining seems much too nice for that to be the possibility. If any of you have info on these it'd be much appreciated!

I need help getting dimensions for a few parts of an RB20. I currently don't have one or have the current funding to buy one. So I need help to get the following dimensions: cylinder head intake ports, cylinder head valves, cylinder head intake manifold bolt pattern, cylinder placement on block, and spark plug placement on cylinder head. I know I just need to get my hands on one but thats not to easy in the USA. This is so I can make a basic 3D soildworks model to run some solidworks simulations for both of my current projects. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

I have an L24 with SU carbs. I've had this idea of the ability to go from carbs to EFI and back relatively easily. This would require a bolt on replacement for the carbs. I'd still be using the stock intake runners and air cleaner. I'd also try to keep the TBs the same length as the carbs. This is what I've doodled so far. This uses a compact EV14 injector: http://www.bosch-motorsport.de/media/catalog_resources/Injection_Valve_EV_14_Datasheet_51_en_2775993867pdf.pdf Some fuel rail I found the dimensions of: http://www.rossmachineracing.com/images/large/dash8wire.jpg And

Hello! I have just started with these engines and i have discovered something that boggles my mind. I just bought a Mangoletsi DCOE intake manifold for my L31 stroker, which is the very first L-series engine i have owned. And just now i saw that there are only holes for mounting the intake manifold on the upper side of the manifold. I was puzzled by this and had to go and test mount it on the engine, thinking that maybe i have to drill my own holes in the manifold in case different heads have different location of the lower mounting screws, but i was further thrown into thought when i saw th

Now that I am finished building my 280Z I would like to share the build story with everyone. I work long hours so I can only work on my build a couple of hours each night and 12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays so I didn't have the time to share my build as I went along. I wanted to do a high end build that would be both beautiful (in my eyes) and a fast track car when finished. During the build the only help that I received was from my good friend Joseph Morrow who worked many hours welding things that I cut apart and jigged (he did not trust my welding for the monster that I was building).
