how to create the bump on metal tube

i have a 97 4runner and the return line for the power steering is a bit mangled. i need to replace it...but the replacment piece is hard to find. it's the end that messed up, so i could easily cut it off...but that little hump holds the hose on. is there a way to recreate that bump so i don't have to replace the entire hard line? if i could i could just get a little longer rubber hose and reconnect.

thanks

It sounds like this is the low pressure return line and I bet if you just slide it on, use a correctly sized hose clamp, and tighten it good, you shouldn't have any problems.

Kinda, sorta... The one I remember seeing had a handle to roll the tube some how.

Unless he's using 3" intercooler pipes for his power steering line, I suspect your standard $15 tube flaring tool will do the job just fine. They'll typically flare lines up to 5/8"Myhttp://www.harborfreight.com/double-tube-flaring-tool-kit-66534.html link
