I was curious if I am going to have to get the crank re-balanced with the new fly wheel or does it not matter. I'm pretty sure its internally balanced and doesn't matter but I wanted to make sure. If you want to make sure, send the flywheel (and clutch setup for that matter) to a shop that does balancing. It's an internally balanced engine, so if the engine is balanced and the flywheel/clutch are balanced, then the entire setup is balanced. 900ss Posted February 15, 2013 Share Posted February 15, 2013 I recently fitted a twin plate clutch n lightened flywheel kit to mine (RB25) and tbh I don't like it Makes the gearbox sound very noisy and (sometimes) stalls the engine easier Race car sure but road car no ... imo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
