Not much on the diy megsquirt, wiring done. Plugged laptop in and communicated with the ecu. Did preliminary input of parameters of the motor. Had an error come up and diy told me that I have the tooth count wrong. Would not let me run sequential the way I had it set.

Did work on my B13, put lowering springs on, dropped it about 3 inches. Painting the wheels with Plasti-dip now.

Drove the car some more. Alternator will not keep up with the electric demand. Ordered new 115 amp from the Z specialists. Should have it by Monday. Will install next weekend.

Can not get the ecu to run the fuel pump. I am sure it is something I did. Will work on that.

Still an issue with blowing the fuse for the gauges and the dash lights, fog lights, wipers. Something I am working on.

Made it to the dyno. Had a good time. Ran thru the driveability tune. tuned rich from 4lbs boost upto 16lbs.

Best pull was 289tg and 273hp at 15.6lbs boost. Car ran great with more than 25 pulls on the dyno. Real happy with the numbers wanted to be 250hp and wished for 300hp. So got right in the middle. But...............

Tuner took the car off the dyno and went to drive it. As usual the gremlin raised its head. Car ran terrible. It spark knocked and had to reset all timing back 15 degrees to get rid of this issue. Multiple drives to get it to work decently.

It was a blast to drive and feels real fast. So will see

Nice build thread man, I have a good amount of updating to do on my own build thread but I won't be able to do that until I get back home (currently living in China) to upload all the photos. I also wanna run the 6speed tranny but mated to an Sr. If you don't mind me asking how much was the tranny?

Great , I know it takes time and money.

Tranny was 600$.

Best bet is buy a sr20det with the tranny. Go ahead and get the drive axle with the diff. The tranny does not come with a speedo port. I had zenke machine my speedo access into the tranny.

Buy the whole set up for $2500 on ebay.

Good luck

I'll have to check on ebay, all the local shops in miami want around 3200-3600 for a complete s15 swap with the 6speed. I'd rather pick up a hurt sr20det long block for cheap since i plan to do piston and rods either way but i'll weigh my options, thanks for the advice. by the way awesome build

Planning on going to Z nationals. Before I go I need some things updated.

1 - brakes
The z32 brakes work to good. Using the z32 master cylinder and booster I am getting an over boost on the brakes, meaning initial stopping will almost always lock the brakes up. If you really concentrate you can stop without doing it. So I am going to put a stock master cylinder and booster of a 280zx. Size difference is over an inch. Hopefully this eliminates that issue.

2 - seat belts
I have done some time attacks with car. The stock seat belts do not hold me in place. So I am getting race harness 5 point seat belts. If you watch my videos earlier in this post you will see what I mean.

3 - radiator over flow
Don't have one, will install one. Don't know what bit will be searching the pick n pay for a suitable one.

On the radiator overflow, you might do just as well time and price wide to get something universal at the parts store. They usually have rectangular ones that mount to the radiator support or inner fender, although I don't know what space you have available after your turbo and intercooler. A small one might fit inside the inner fender close to the headlight bucket, you could just run the hose thru a little hole drilled in the inner fender. I'm putting my sub-belt in today for the same reason. If you plan to crank your shoulder belts really tight, a sub belt is a must or the lap belt will ride up.
