PounceZ Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Hi guys, I just wanted to see if anyone can confirm that an '81 turbo with paint code 093 (light brown metallic w/ gold stripe) should have a gold hood emblem. The nissan parts microfiche just says that the gold emblem is for black cars. My emblem just broke, so now I am on the hunt for an original. ArchetypeDatsun Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 I used to have an 81 280zx turbo parts car with they same paint and the hood emblem was silver but the 280zx turbo emblems on the fenders were gold as well as the rear emblems. Seems odd that it would have that with the gold side and rear emblems, but I am getting used to the idea that the 81 Turbo was sort of a mutt car.
