It was a new replacement tank put in the car back in the 90's. I think the '75 through '78 tanks are the same. It has the guage sending unit, but missing the twist lock ring that holds the sending unit in the tank. Hey, i have a 75/76 z gas tank it is a good tank that was cleaned and tested at a radiator shop $250+shipping. If you'll pay that plus shipping get back, if not i'm keeping it. I know you had an issue with my tank as to where the drain plug was located, but I know this to be a 76 tank as the fittings are the larger diameter for fuel injection, its still a 17 gallon tank to make it fit 76 and earlier and I can see the baffles and swirl pot through the filler neck.
