smooth fiberglass fender flares?

"Easiest installation method is bonding to the fender with automotive grade double stick tape (not included). E-6000 adhesive is a simple way to "blend in" to the fender if you wish. "

Oh yeah i saw that, I appreciate you trying though.

I'm more interested in what the mounting points look like. Curious about things like: Is it a huge tab on the underside for the tape? Does the attachment point have any effect on how much fender can be cut off? Will these cover up fender holes from previously installed ZG flares? Do they provide the same extra clearance as a ZG flare?

I bought a rear set of these from MSA with the intent of using 3M 08116 panel adhesive to bond these onto my rear subtle z kit. I was not sure if the rear subtle z 1/4 panels with coil overs, camber plates and the Rota rbr 9.5" rears would all come together and allow me to utilize 265" or 275" tires, let alone fit period as the subtle z only increases width by 1.5". As far as room for double sided tape, not so much from what I see. I plan on adding more fiberglass to smooth the radius where the bottom meets with the dog leg and behind the rear tires. Just a quick tape up for a visual when I bought these a little while ago.

I've recently been thinking of filling in the bolt holes on my flares and blending into airdam aswell. I won't be blending it into the fenders itself but will make the edge flush as i can. I have access behind the flare front and rear so im thinking of fibreglassing some bolts into the flares and running a nut behind the fender. But because my flares sit nice without having to bend it to fit i may just glue/urethane and clamp it firm until dries.

Here are some pics of my wide ZG's from jdmflares. I've mocked it up with some masking tape to get an idea what it may look like if i smooth the join between airdam/flare and delete the bolt holes.

I ended up going a completely different route and purchased the "YZ" rear quarter panels from Ztrix where I originally got the "Subtle Z" kit from. I am planning on running a 315" rear tire and the "YZ" quarter will accommodate a 12" wheel. I was persuaded into having the rears made from metal by my body/paint guy and that is currently in motion. I still have the new MSA rear "zg" flares in my parts collection in bubble wrap.

Wow, those look nice!  You going to sell a few sets to cover the cost of making those jigs?  Also, what are your plans for front flares?

Anyone have any more photos of these installed?

Upon second look those flares could be just modified standard ZG style flares.  Mold studs into the rivet dimples then cover with bondo or fiberglass
