L26 4BBL and L28e

Names Memphis, I have a 260z that I fell into for a couple hundred dollars. It came with a clifford intake and holley 390cfm and the timing was really off. The previous owner had put a large washer on the distributor adjustment bolt so he could advance it way further than it should. It drove terrible at low RPMS but really kicked in around 5grand. I picked up motor from a friend thats a running '76 L28e. Im really considering swapping all the 4bbl stuff onto the L28 and getting some forged pistons for it and looking into head work at a machine shop in my local area. Id like to build a motor for top end. Im looking for a little advice on the two motors I have before I get to far ahead of myself. The L28 seems to.have a better aftermarket then the L26.

Started the build off with a cage.

That's a foolish interrogatory statement to make. You're slovenly mistaken.

I stand by what I said, if you can't comprehend what I'm telling you, then you need to do more basic research.

The internet would be a good place to start. This took maybe a microsecond to turn up:

Then again, here I am spoonfeeding again. Argh!
