What rear sway bar is this and where does it mount up?

Recommended Posts

Looks like a ST rear bar for 240, with some funky homemade mounting brackets.

Even though it was originally designed for use on the 240, it's a very popular upgrade on the 260s and 280s, as it does not bind with the rear LCAs on lowered cars like the stock sway bar is prone to doing.

Seems likely. And I think can bind with R200 mustache bar, so spacers are needed - my guess at those brackets.

Does anyone know what rear sway this is? I was in the hatch of a Z I bought and would like to clean it up and put it to use but curious where it mounts to. I tried looking around but didn't see anything similar. The bar is 19mm.

Would you mind posting a few measurements of this bar? i'm heading to a wrecker soon and wanting to see if I can find anything similar. Pretty simple bend profiles. Perhaps a measurement of the longest portion, length of the legs, and the width at the leg ends where the end links mount (width across car so to speak).

Regards,

Mark
