WTB: V8 Temperature sender adapter fitting for 1988 and earlier SBC

Although I always install my temp sensor in the intake manifold itself. If you have an aftermarket intake, you will have the option too. It gets the temp sender away from all the header heat.

 

Here's a pic of my old 1978 with a 400ci small block I installed. I bought the car with the original inline 6 that threw a rod.

Thanks for the responses.  I've had the set on backorder with MSA for some months now waiting that adapter so I'll find something locally as suggested.

 

You may be able to get a new sending unit from an auto parts store and the adapter  from Lowes etc. That is how I did mine. Wrapped the threads with teflon tape.  No leaks  in 10 years.

 

Black Dragon is going out of business, but they may have the sending unit if your local auto parts store doesn't have one.
