Wilwood Prop Valve Adapters

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I just received my wilwood prop valve and was wondering if anyone had a link or knew where I could order some adapter fittings to mate this up to the stock 10mmx1.0 lines on the car.  I've tried both my local partsource and NAPA to no luck as well as searching online a good bit.   I know it's possible to just cut and re-flare the lines but I'd like to save that as a last resort.

Thanks!

What Part # of P/V. WilWood has them available in 1/8 27 NPT ports and 3/8 24 National Fine straight thread. Once you find that out, search Earl's, Russel, McMaster Car.

There are adapters to go straight from the SAE thread to the 10mm x 1.0 Bubble flare. Juts have to Google a bit more. The other Option is to buy Universal brake adapter lines. These have Metric Bubble flare on one end and SAE on the other. Since the WilWood kit includes SAE inverted adapters with the Prop Valve this may be the way to go. Then you can bend your lines to fit.

Any decent Automotive Parts store can get these. If they can't find them, get a Parts guy with an IQ bigger than a Peanut. Hint... search out the grumpy old fart types ... like me . They usually know their isht. :D

If you have the 1/8  27 NPT threads in the Prop valve, then this company has what you want. 1/8 NPT ( Male ) to M10 x 1.0 Female Metric Bubble flare. Part number CNC896 = $9.00 each.

Edit: If you have the 3/8 24 NF straight threads in the Prop Valve then you want adapter CNC897 = $12.00 each

Sorry I should have specified!  The part number is 260-8419.  If I'm not mistaken it's got the 3/8 24 NF straight threads.  So I guess that means I'm going to need to go with http://www.pacificcustoms.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PC&Product_Code=cnc897&Category_Code=brass-adapter-fittings  these?

Thanks for all the help!

WilWood specs say the 260-8419 has 1/8" NPT ports.

I looked at this  a long time ago. It is 10mm x 1.0 bubble flare.

From Summit:

Q:  Is it an inverted flare or bubble flare on inlet and outlet?

Asked by KENNETH on June 02, 2016

A: Thank you for your question. Wilwood Disc Brakes 260-12627 would have a 10 mm. x 1.0 bubble flare on both inlet and outlet.

In 09 I checked with Wilwood. They had no interest in supplying 10mm x 1.0 inverted flare adapters or a PV with those specifications.
