Owen Posted March 7, 2000 Share Posted March 7, 2000 I recently acquired a set of Ground Control coil overs. I need to cut out the perch and weld in a stopper for the threaded tube to sit on. My question is, is the strut assembly fixed to the brake assembly, etc. permanently? I want to swap to rear discs later when I find more money and I don't want to have to cut out the stopper ring again when I do. Or can I find a newer Z with rear discs and swap the entire suspension in, having welded the ring for the coilovers?
