I was at a little garage party thrown by Bill Coffey in Gainsville Florida. Attached are a couple of the cars that showed up. The Vette (very old school cool) owned by Phil Currin (aka - Fast Phil) was very cool, and a National Champion in the 60's.

The Dino was the 1975 Cannonball Sea-to-Shinning Sea winner. Piloted by Jack May, and Rick Cline the car crossed the country in 35 hours, 53 minutes. "Cannonball Jack" Jack May was in attendance. WOW, what a character this guy is, and ooooh the stories.

Hey all.

Regarding the bumper/wing on the Countach.

I think I read somewhere that it was put on the car by the importers

because the front of the car was below minimum federal height standards.

I think it was the owners option to remove it after purchase, and some actually did.

Mike.

This is what i was looking for before i got my z. Not the prettiest thing on the eyes, but i think its an amazing sports car. Inexpensive, light weight, performance oriented mid engine setup, and the supercharged models move along pretty quick. Definately a drivers car.
