I ended up mounting mine, well nearly, this weekend. I've got some bolts to put in place, but everything else is there. You can read a full writeup with the link below (or in the member projects forum).

I've still got a lot of work left to do to clean things up, but I think this will work well for now.

Jon any picup issues with yours at that angle? I see you have it in "backwards" which would make the pickups in the front which i would think would be fine at that angle, even under heavy accel. I was going to get a 15 gallon ATL or fuel safe and put one of these as the pickup.

I assume the lids on these are asymetrical so you can mount the lid so the writing looks legit :P

Lid is done. Because of the angle I had to have a pop up for the hoses and gas cap. I tried a Moroso fuel cell door, but it was pretty  small, so I went ahead and made my own door instead with spring loaded wing nut dzuses to open and close. To seal the lid to the car I used nutserts around the perimeter and used some foam weather strip from Lowes, and there are probably 30 #10 machine screws holding it on. Since I can't weld aluminum, I pop riveted the pop up together and then used seam sealer so that it's a bit more gasoline tight.

I don't know how a 24" cell would fit, but you should be able to go out to your car and eyeball where the frame rails are by looking for the spot welds and then have an idea of whether you can offset it enough for your liking.

24" includes the flange, its basicly just 4 inches wider than yours. Does it have to be seperated like that from the cab or can you have the lid flush with the floorplan? I know you went with the angle thing, im just worried about pickup like that.
