badjuju Posted May 21, 2007 Share Posted May 21, 2007 Last weekend I did two things: I reinstalled my cardboard glovebox insert, and I tried to pull my stereofan console to install a new stereo. After pulling the whole stereofan setup out about a half inch, I decided it's not worth messing anything up, and reinstalled it. I do not think I disconnected anything. I was very gentle. Whilst installing my cardboard insert, I pulled the momentary switch which turns off the glovebox light. you know the one, top right of the glove box? pushes in when you close the glovebox door? as I pulled it out, dar dar, I shorted it out. It blew the accessories fuse. After replacing the fuse, my little yellow defrost switch doesn't work, and neither does my fan. fusible link inside? any ideas?
