Recommended Posts

Off the line im fine but im bogging down mid way down the 1/8 mile. Ive changed the fuel pump to a holley part-# 12-801-1 fuel pump. But that seems to have made it worse. I do not want to change to a holley carb im hell bent on q-jet. Is there somthing i can be missing? Its ran great up till about 3 weeks ago.

thb i think im going to run this motor till it blows i have a 318 sitting around. Im going to start building it this week.

close to stock 77 vette 350 is basicly what i got. I have not done much to it till i can stop breaking the brute force u-joints.

New fuel filter and pump. All new lines.

Yester day i she ran great and i pulled a close to perfect launch and ripped the half shaft to bits. Some days it runs good some it runs like ♥♥♥♥ no mater how much i tune it.

Ok the u joints ya are using are garbage .. I didn't make it down the street with them broke one on a launch in the street with drag radials at 2000 rpm .. go to carquest and get the car quest gold ones they are non greasable and i have so far over 30 passes at the track with them and no prob...... as for your carb .. weather ya love it or not it is junk ... throw it away and get an updated newer carb .. there are many reasons they make new things .. mainly cuz the old ones are outdated and don't perform well
