Globerunner513 Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 I know there are several pilots, and people involved with aviation on the boards here, so thought I might as well let you guys in on an assignment I have for school. I have to do two case studies aircraft crashes due, primarily, to turbulence. Clear Air Turbulence, or Mountain wave turbulence mostly. Just no convective activity. If any of you know of a classic incident like this off the top of your head let me know Just figured I would ask here, as I start my google searching. Thanks! Also interesting because it was a Comet- famous for crashing for another reason, but that's an entirely different paper... By convective activity you mean low altitude microbursts for example?
