I am thinking stroker, but I see L28DET's on craigslist all the time, within driving distance that are really freaking cheap. With these motors, how much power can they take stock? Then how much power can the stock turbo make when hooked up to an intercooler? A turbo would be really awesome, and I know that there is a lot of power potential out of it, just that I still really want to stay carb, so I am sort of in a decision pickle at the moment. Kind of wanting to compare how much power a stroker will make compared to an L28DET with the turbo running near peak efficiency on an intercooler. Though even comparing prices, it seems like I could do a lot more with an L28DET with the money that I have then I could a stroker. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
