Mensaf Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 My 280Z shut off on me while I was driving. It was like a misfire or something, but without the noise. Bog, drive Bog, shut off. I towed it back to my dorm, got it off the truck, and it started. It seems as though it wants to shut off the second I engage the clutch. Drove it 6 feet, shut off. Check the connection to the coil, the distributor, the ignition box (if the 280 has one, my 260 does). Hope this helps give you ideas as to what to look at.
