deru Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I had a co-worker bring in a "NWC" T5 from one of his buddies that was pulled from an 83 camaro. I told him I would give him $150 if everything looked alright thinking that I could get by for a while until a found something stronger later on. It was a V8 car but he said that he didn't think it was the original transmission. Well the first thing I see is a Dexron II sticker and I immediatly ran the numbers and sure enough it was an original WC T5 from a 89 F-body. So $150 for a complete trans, bell housing, shifter, and yoke is enough for me justify making a post just to share my story to all you complete strangers out there!!
