Crank difference

Curious, my 225mm clutch has held up fine in turbo service.

 

It all depends on what you are doing, and what clutch material you use.

 

It's not a 'mandatory' item by any means.

 

The argument can be made that the increased moment of inertia of the 240mm Pressure Plate kills a lot of throttle response in small throttle transients.

 

My wife hates my turbo car, because she says it has an 'on-off throttle'...

if they are the same then why fidanza make 2 different aluminum flywheels?

 

I think Tilton might have had two different flywheels, but I thought that my Fidanza was drilled for both, with a heat shield big enough to accomodate either the 225 or the 240
