"Practical Racing Car Aerodynamics" Book opinion?

Recommended Posts

$9.99 here http://www.dmrpcb.com/aero.html but I don't see an author's name or anything and I couldn't find it on Amazon. I like to search books on Amazon because with a lot of them you can see the Table of Contents of the books and get a better idea of if it would be useful to you or not.

I have Race Car Aerodynamics: Designing for Speed and it's pretty technical, I had to read a lot of it over a few times to understand it. Learned a lot from it. I've been wanting to get Compitition Car Aerodynamics and I think I saw a book called Compitition Car Downforce, if I ever get the money to buy them I'll tell you how they are.

Anyone have this book? Is it worth $30?

I have it and I'd say it's worth that much. It's aimed more at the club racer and how to measure and find improvements. It's somewhat like the aerobytes series in Racecar Engineering minus the wind tunnel. But it does have some practical advice.

The quality of the book is horrible though. So if you can find it cheaper I would go that route.
