450lb of torque (as well as a balanced chassis) coming off corners is the key, but we're still tuning, especially diff: 4.38 gears were best w/V6 (they're for sale now!), 4.08 was still too much for V8 (like a Legend car on ice), 3.69 seems just right but Nissan LSD is way too loose (spinning one tire then the other out of corners is like driving in Wisc in February). Gotta a beautiful locker frm Japan but not yet able to adapt stub axles (zero cash doesn't help). Ran 2:00/2:01s @CalSpd w/V6, 1:56 this year while overbraking into corners - will drop 4-6 seconds w/diff fixed & better brakes. Pulled 165-168mph off turn 2 w/4.08 diff (in 6th gear) last year, haven't figured out mph w/3.69 yet (wasn't pushing it @5,700rpm in 5th). After years of chasing turbos & Vipers, we're almost ready to rock ;]

Oh, and the expression is "Good stuff Maynard" as in Maynard G. Krebs, not "Good stuff Ken" ;]
