  1. Just purchased a 76 shell, and the P.O started to remove the brake and fuel hardlines. They were pretty trashed in transport, and i need to replace them. Need pretty much all brake lines from the master cylinder back, and all fuel lines from the tank forward. Shoot me a PM or respond here if you have a parts car and can help me out. Thanks.
  2. Yea, I have a buddy who tinkers around with s12s. His words on the CA20's bottom end... "the rods are so weak they bend of their own free will at anything more than about 200hp, and not very far after that, its the block itself that goes." The CA18DET bottom end is MUCH stronger than the CA20Es, or the CA18ETs. My advice is stay away from both of those. For more information on that setup, Check out www.club-s12.org *ninja edit* That same guy has 3(!) FJ20 engines, and I'm sure he could be persuaded to part with one if your interested.
  3. I've been doing the same thing on my '72. Came out pretty good. Started roller, then switched to an electric gun from HF. Much less labor intensive than the roller, and looks MILES better. I'll see if i can dig up a few pictures.
  4. I'm in Raleigh, have a driver's side fender. It's not perfect, but better than the one you have by miles. The one i have has 2 small rust holes, probably about dime size combined. PM me if your interested, and good luck with the Z.
  5. Thanks Tony. I figured that's what i'd have to do.
  6. Hi all. I recently purchased a 72 240z, and have been bringing it back to roadworthy status. The P.O stated that the motor had a rebuild a couple of years back. A cam was installed, however i could not get any other information about the cam other than it was possibly a comp cam. stamped on the cam is "CWC" "D1" "EP 40" "C1" and "B26" I googled it and all i was able to come up with was that it was a billet core, not a regrind. i know i can pull the cam gear for more information, but was hoping someone here might know what this is based off the information i've given.
