Hi guys Need some parts to finish my z and wonder If you guys can help me out. Parts I need For this Datsun 1978 280z S30 L28 (5)Speed: Fender Flares(Don't buy those cheap ebay crap ones.lol) Shifter Rubber Boot.All the heat is coming into the car. L28 Headers,My exhuast broke a stud and I don't think its wroth fixing. Ideas about AC unit will be nice as well tho. we have used love fab with great results but they are kind of price overkill. Now everyone wants to charge like fullrace manifolds which is rediculos. Our its a t4 single scroll with a 60mm tial wastegate on a twinscroll T78-33d Trust turbo. we compensate the lag with 270 custom tomei cams.But we have this in or rb25det dragon. here a video so you can have an idea what I'm talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiFGKdlt-CY So our best option now would be to go with fullrace from now on. The love fab I heard it comes with a warp flange due to lasen cut. But thats not the hole problem.The real problem is that Lovefab doesn't tell you.So you most check the flange and make sure you will get proper seal. I don't think many here need this types of manifolds.But if you do decide to go for higher power and top quality you should make sure to check warp flanges prior to install. Now about the ones mentioned here.Well You should Have a look on the inside.For they are known for little paiticules from welding that falls of and ends up in your turbo.So please inspect them properly inside and out.

yeah heat range in 8 should be a good choice.We run 7 but we shot water methanol boosting in the 32psi range. Not sure whats your mods tho. You will need an MLS and arp heads studs tho. what series is the motor?

Mine is the same My guess is that they swap the key locks.Thats what I did and ever since I can't lock the passenger door either.I can lock the driver side with the key tho.

hi guys question has anyone taken the L28 motor to high revs?i mean past limit? I ask cause I love high revs and I have built high revs in higher stock engines like the RB30 etc. Now I look att my s30z and wonder how hi could that L28 go in N/A form????
