  1. Hello all, Just read this complete thread and was about to order some JCI mounts for a LS3 swap, but before I do, are there any additional information on the motor mounts/pictures? My main specs are where the mount positions the motor.......how far back and height. And/or will these headers fit a '78 280Z with JCI mounts? Thanks,
  2. Hey guys, Just spent an hour reading the posts in detail. I'm finally decided to complete my LS2 swap in a 280z with minor bolt-ons: cam, intake, TB, and a good "reliable" tune for the street. This is a great thread and hated to hear about the problems toward the end with Blake. I have an honest question to the guys that purchased the headers. With everything that y'all (I from the south) gone through, would you consider trying to work with Blake to see if he is willing to build a set for your car? Or would you just go with a set of shorties and be done with it? If shorties, does anyone know the exact model that is a bolt-in for the John's Cars mount kit? Also for the LTs did anyone have A/C on their car and if the headers cleared the compressor? I remember a member stating had to move/mod some A/C lines? Thank you,

  4. Thank you guys....I made a typo on the phone number I tried...it was 426 not 429. But for some reason it either just rings or I get a recording from the phone company. Hopefully it is just a temporary glitch in the phone system.....are they John's Cars, Inc. (JCI) still producing these kits? Also Brokenkitty has the same phone number and address as JCI....are they the same company? Thank you again for your help.
  5. Hello, Does anyone have any information you can share with me on mounting kits for the Chevy LS1/LS2? I tried to contact to John's Cars but have not been able to contact them. Has their phone number been changed?...I tried (214)429-4101 & -4100. Also is there a better/another kit out there. My plan is to install a LS2 w/T-56 6-spd in a 1978 280Z. Thank you for you help........
  6. Hello Paul, I have one on my LS2 engine 2006 model that I am willing to trade for a rear sump model. Planning on install this engine is a 280Z and my rack in is the front. Pan is perfect, engine only had about 7,000 miles on it. Thank you
