I bought some dual weber carbs for my 1972 240z and I just finished removing the stock SU's and noticed the coolant passage won't be blocked by the J manifolds provided. Basically the manifolds on my car are square and on the bottom have a passage for coolant, but the new cannon manifolds I got are perfect squares with no holes for coolant which would'nt block the coolant holes. The person I purchased the carbs from told me it was a direct bolt on and I don't think that's possible unless you're supposed to block the coolant or reroute it? Can someone explain to me how to install these correctly?
Nevermind, I blocked off the coolant like I mentioned and it seemed to work well. The first picture show's where I plugged the lines and the second one is after everything was finished.
