  1. So my wheel hub cap came off my wheel and so did the dust cap for the wheel spindle . From looks of it the OEM part is discontinued . I see one eBay listing but is there another name for the part I can search for? I figured Dorman or some other company would make replacement ones . Thanks
  2. So about a year and half ago I upgraded my 280z alternator to a 280zx internal volt regulator alternator. I did the wire modification and everything but have this annoying issue that the alternator won't kick on unless I high rev it past 3000 RPMs. When this happen the AMP gauge needle moves from the middle to 1/4 past it. This holds for a little bit and then it drops back down to the middle. When I do this all the lights in the car become brighter as if it getting the juice it needs. Now if I do not rev it to "jump start the alternator" It will run off the battery and the car will eventually die. So I'm wondering if it's a faulty Alternator? It was a refurbished one I got from Rock Auto. Or is it maybe fuse related I have the glass fuse still and the old fuse wires in the engine bay? Thanks!
  3. So I finally got around to installing my Weather Stripping for the Z and after I install the driver side stripping I noticed I was missing the Window Door Sash...and water is just pouring in from the top. Black Dragon won't do anything about it for me. I don't know but that part is only included in the later year kit and mine was built in Jan. 1975. The part I'm missing in #3 in the graph shown. Now Do I need to spend and extra 50 bucks to get the 2 pieces of stripping or is there some 3M stuff I can use? Update: I called Black Dragon again and they took care of it and sent me the 2 pieces I need =)
  4. PM me if you have any looking to buy some Eibach Progressive Spring Kit
  5. ya I like those coilover's just going to hold off on them I guess and get the KYB and springs for now...don't track the car and I won't be driving it as much anymore since I have my Ruckus up and running again. Those TEnsion Rods tho are pretty sick
  6. Also only reason I'm going with Tokico is because I've read that theyre the only ones that will handle lowering springs. I've heard terrible things about KYB with lowering springs
  7. I'll check it out.. lol only thing I'm worried about coil overs is with welding them in.. If one of them goes out your kinda Fcked right?
  8. Ya what's the deal with that? I know Tokico had some supplier issue? But Tokico website has pretty much disappeared and it's some Hitachi website.. Ya I'll have to look into it
  9. So I'm finally replacing out the suspension I'm going to go with Full Tokico Illuminta and Spring Kit.. Extra's I'm going to get is Rear spindle pins Replacement Boots already have urethane Bumpstops ready Rear Spacers I was told I should get these if I'm going to get larger wheels in the future Bump-Steer Spacers, 15" & Larger Wheels, 70-78 240Z-260Z-280Z http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/PSDC11/23-4186 Now with those do I need them for all 4 wheels I'm guessing? Other then that is there anything else I'm missing or should be suggested?
  10. Ya it's the pulley that you can adjust to remove the belt...I just wanted to be 100 percent sure it was still drivable
  11. Alright perfect it's not to bad out..I guess I'm just going to take it to a Bearing Supply house and see if they can help me out.
