S30 Competition Hood Scoop

The factory listed this as a "Competition Hood Scoop" but it really is Datsun's hot air vent for the 1973 240z. Although listed as a "competition" hood scoop, I've never seen a photograph of a race car z using this "hood scoop". The factory literature seems to recommend this as a cure for overheating.

I will use it to both gain clearance through the 280Z hood for the tall intake manifold on my 5.3L generation III CSB truck engine and to forestall any overheating at idle down here in the low desert.

This is a hard to find piece. I traded a complete clsd and cv axles out of an '89 Turbo 300z for it.
