superior78-z 0 Posted December 31, 2004 hey lex240, superio78-z here i'm interested in running ROH DRIFT R 17X8 on my z with stock suspension do they come in 4x114.3 bolt pattern for our model z? please let me know. Quote Link to comment
lex240zls1 0 Posted January 1, 2005 ROH DRIFT R , sweet wheel we just finished stagered 18x9 18x7.5 combo on a 944 , but I don't think they have our aplication, I don't know how u feel about adapters . I've been skeptical of them over the years. I have been in the wheel business for over 11 years and had to sell them for certain application because if I would not the next competitor would. My family has been in the wheel & tire game since 1972{32years} . In my 11 years I've sold thousands and never had a problem with a single one. The combo consist of 4 super strong custom built on order from cold forged billet aluminum hub centric adapters or spacers in this option of fitment that happen's to be so easy. I didn't use them on my application because I went with a custom build wheel that was a direct fit. This is the best way for fitment!!!! I also paid out my ass for my combo!!! so I'll check a price and length of build time so you could compare it to a 5 lug convertion or a custom built wheel. Quote Link to comment
superior78-z 0 Posted January 4, 2005 please if you could lex240! Would running a 4 to 5-lug adapter in 1"5x114.3 work in stock looking form? from superior78-z? let me know. Quote Link to comment
lex240zls1 0 Posted January 4, 2005 It's an uncommon way to make a combo fit due to its complexity OF INSTALL, $ and liability. Im not to crazy about how the 4 TO 5 LUG ADAPTER BECOMES A TWO Piece PRODUCT.THIS MAKES THE ADAPTOR 2X THICK that could be up to 2.5" to 4.0" , but I will check the thickness of the 4to5 lug adapters to see if it would work with your ideal drift r combo to be functional in all aspects of safty and then style . I can't stand seeing wheels sticking way in or posting way out it must be flush within the fender. Quote Link to comment
superior78-z 0 Posted January 6, 2005 lex240 superior78 here again with more ?s spoke to guy at groupawheels he said those drifter-r wheels come in 4-lug pattern for some mustangs, would those work you think? don't know mustang lug pattern though.. Quote Link to comment
lex240zls1 0 Posted January 7, 2005 4x108mm or 4x4.25 to our 4x4.5 or 4.114.3 adapters are $300.00 + the ride I'll try to check how long on build time . I think they have them down to 25.4mm thick Quote Link to comment
