They will fit... but the plugs wont because they are in the way.

 

Edit no one has angled spark plugs in their Z??

I do i have a set of AFR 210 in my 77 280Z & the headers that i found to work with my setup are from S&S they are long tube 1&3/4" but i have a front plate in my car as well.

yes i have set they were purchased through a z car retailer in california abd were made by s an s they are around 600.

thanks for the info but is their any premade sets out their? the s&s header co went under and i am still searching the web for more options .

just a suggestion.... .....build a custom set exactly to the correct length for your application, with the correct collector.

can anyone tell me who makes a full length 1 3/4 " header to fit a small block chevy in a 77 280? i am building a 434 ci drag racer no street duty at all only the track.
