DriftZ

Hey guys I used to have a 280zx but it was so rusty that I had to sell it because it wasn't "safe" to drive. Now I have an S13 and I want to put the L28ET in it. Are there other people that have done this that could have helpful information on this. Should I try to get the motor to fit on the KA tranny or should i use the l28 tranny and get a custom driveshaft? Do I need a custom driveshaft for this? Any help would be appreciated and if this is in the wrong section, sorry, feel free to move it.

Also whenever I drift the gas splashes up and runs down the side of the car out from the gas cap. The gas cap is on tight, so do I need a new gas cap or is this a common problem with these cars?

Thanks a bunch, those pictures were quite good. ( It helps that my car looks very similar, lol) I will stick with my 280 for drifting because it would be a little bit different than all the 240sx's running around. Also what do you guys think of just cutting the stock springs as a temporary solution to lower and stiffen the car, until i can get some new springs.

Does anyone drift with their Z cars? If so, which parts do you find work best? Also how safe is it to drift with wheel adapters?
