The car has been sitting for around a year, we were planning on dropping the tank anyway cuz it's been outside covered for over a year in rainy Washington weather. We will be performing a tune-up, oil change, and fresh filters. It ran fine before he parked it, we were just looking for some of the little quirks or "make sure you check this" kinda things. Thanks for the tips! I'm new to fuel injection and Z cars. Eventually it will get get a 355cid 335hp Chevy small block. My dad is trying to talk me into a four speed (cheaper) but I want a T-5 5 speed. Later I want to take it all apart and redo everything: good suspension and brake upgrades, roll cage, and gauges, badboy 450hp small block, Quaife LSD, etc.

Hola! First post, getting a '77 280 from my uncle who has a nasty 240 383 cid conversion. The 280 is all stock is going with me to Texas in a few months. Car is original and we need to know what, where, if, and how to fix if there are any issues with the older FI systems. We will be tuning and getting it running in about a week. He's a good mechanic and I'm fair (mostly SBC and air-cooled VW exp). Anything to look for or watch out for tips are much appreciated, thanks!
