I utilized a 2002 TransAM steering shaft. It is a Double D Connector. I had to go from that to a splined. I just took the chevrolet OEM connector and then transitioned to a splined setup. I do not know what the datsun will require. I dont have that steering shaft laying around any more as I got rid of it.

Thanks much for your response. What did you have to do and GET (suppliers) for modification of your 280Z Datsun Steering Shaft? Is it a 28 spline shaft?
