  1. Hey everybody. I have searched and didn't find much in the way of help on this subject. I'm wanting to install megasquirt to control fuel only, for a while until I get everything figured out on it anyway. For a simple install that uses all of the stock sensors except the AFM how hard would it be to create an entirely new harness for the injection system only. This is going into a 77 280z, all stock other than the botched factory wiring thanks to the P.O. Would it be easier and quicker to just make a new harness, or to try and use the factory harness and just run a couple of new wires? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  2. ok. I would have to use inserts from the rear of an mr2 on the front when I section the strut housing anyway, and put the front struts from the 280 into the rear housings, so the struts weren't so much what I was asking about. I should have been more specific. What I meant was is it true that the actual springs for the 240 are a bit shorter. Therefore making the lowering springs a little shorter as well I would presume.
  3. Hey guys, I'm not new here, just don't really post to much. I'm wondering if there is any difference in the springs and shocks between the 240 and the 280. If I'm not mistaken the 240 was actually a little lower from the factory, and what I was wanting to know is would it be possible to replace the stock 280 parts with a 240 lowering kit, getting a little more than I could with 280 aftermarket parts, and just section the shock bodies by about an inche or so? I tried searching, but if this has already been discussed I would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction, or just letting me know what they know on the subject. Thanks.
