ok I want to know what rear gears do I have, I would like to run a r230 rear end with a v8.I pick up the rear end not knowing the difference.

Ok Ive been looking and looking for the post about putting a corvette rear end in a 240z.I Remember several year ago that some had done it.He had pics and instalation guide.Can anyone help.Im thinking of going to a corvette rear end.

well ive been gathering all my parts for my build for the last year or so.I would like to have the f40 wing and a fiberglass cowlhood.Its going to be a wide body just a litte bit different in the front.
All ive hear about showcase over the years has not been good.So thats why im asking you guy for the wing.

Im wantint to cut the inside door panel to make some room for the roll bar.Just dont know how much to cut and still have some support with the door.Can some give me some help or pics.

Ok Ive read some of the post about exhaust size in realation to hp in turbo cars.My question is how big of a exhaust pipe should be used on a na 3.1L stroker motor without loosing power.Understaning backpressure is inportant factor.I want to run oval tubing for ground clearance issues.Is 3inch or 31/2 inches to large for 3.1L stroker or going v8 with these size tubing run better.

I just put my drive shaft in and it is hitting the parking brake.i have a 1970 240z 5 speed trans.What am I doing wrong?

Ok i see what true side pipes you guys r talking about but I dont want my pipes to run down the side of the car.Just want the ends to come out the side.I understand there may be a issue with grroung clearance but other than that it seem to work well.No worring about burning your leg or running a heat shield.

I guess im not going to get much more input on this topic.I really wanted to know if i should run side pipes vs rear pipes.Im currently building a widebody stroker 240z and thought I could get some good input.

Im wanting to do the r230 conversion.I right now am running 3.1 liter stroker but wanting to go v8 down the road.My question is what driveshaft do i run with the 3.1 liter?

Doe's anyone have a JTR book that they are willing to give or sell.Im building a 3.1 liter stroker but have come to a point that I want more power than what I have.Just finished the engine.Now i want to go v8.

Im building a 240z stroker 3.1L I would like some input to see if running 18"rims is too much for this engine.I wanting to go widebody with 18x12 in the rear 18x10 in front.

Ok.thank you all for the info.The info stamped is 46:13 which come out to be 3.53.Now I'm back to the original thing what didi it come out of?
