I am heavily considering going this route due to no information or axle selection on my end.
Who has done it and what suspension set up did you use and do you like the swap, can you please include pictures of your set up as well?

It's not pretty yet, just getting all the little things tied up on the car for the time being. But a little small block on a unit and blower = SMILE

Hey Steve...I have a set of half shafts or axles from 83 280ZX N/A if that will work for you.

Which part broke? The u-joints or another piece? And did you have stock u-joints or aftermarket?
Asking because there's a general discussion that pops up occasionally about strength of Z half-shafts and differential. If you had pictures that would be even better.

They were stock with 34 years and 78k miles on them, I broke the U joint then twisted straps that go around the U joint. Looks like a bomb hit them, whoops....I'll post pics when I get around them.

Are both halfshafts the same length? I destroyed mine this weekend and I was going to have some custom ones made, any insight would be helpful.

That v8 looks expensive and I'm open to the idea but where's the fun? I don't see alot of work needed and I failed to mention it will be a daily driver.
Been talkin to the tucson guy just seein if there are others.
It is a daily driver and it does need work just doesnt look like it. But all in all the car is clean and a good start to mold it into something you would like. I wouldnt know what your price range is as it's not noted. But you might get the car cheaper than you think.
