FYI: Go back and READ what I told you to do: it was a TEST that you do to determine if its resistive loading in the circuit. NO voltage means a bad switch,LOW voltage means a bad wire. Your reading comprehension is terrible, no ability. FYI: My advice, SPOT ON... you just read what you wanted and took the easy 'parts monkey' ...

Yeah, I told my buddy I was going to get the 350z block but he informed me I could change out the cam gears and ecu from a maxima and have the samething and run the 6speed fine, alot better paying $700 for a maxima block then $1800+ for one directly from a Z. cool beans in my book.

thanks. next month im going to be picking up a VQ block and prepare for my swap. i hate the 80's ricer graphics on here tho hahah. bumpers and shot interior come out tonight. gonna start a build thread once i get some real progress

I joined here a while back in hopes I could get my hands on a Z so I made some phone calls, went to this guys house and I ended up calling a tow truck for this 1974 260z now hopefully I can figure out whats wrong with it and get it started so I can enjoy it for the summer car is 80% rust free. there are a few surface spots or "zits" i call them where its under paint but all the wells are in great condition. only major spot is a small hole under the battery mount
