Look for a preferably rust free or 99.9% rust free shell. I am located in St Petersburg, FL so something close would be nice. I am just looking to switch shells to complete my ls2 car. The one I have is going to take too much work on the body.
Let me know what you have

So I am a freelance graphic designer and artist. I have also run a "hi-performance" shop for almost 10 years. The reason I am moving is because of the woman. Right now we are looking at some places in Deerfield beach. If anyone has any knowledge of the place or knows of any jobs in that area, it would be a huuuge help. We are also looking in the tampa bay/sarasota area as well. Any input of that area is appreciated.
Thanks David

I do not want to jack this thread but i am also building coilovers for a daily driver and i am trying to decide whether to go with stock strut tops and bushing type camber adjusters or TTT tops. Do you think that the bushing type will give enough adjustment front or rear?
-
can you still get G Machine? how much adjustment do they give you?

I looked through the LT1 Subaru rack thread and there weren't many examples of what people did for a steering shaft or whatever you want to call it. If you have this swap can you take a pick for me???

practically the same size tire. It looks like the 315 is about an inch and a half wider, 1.57 to be exact. Doesnt look like its bulging too much on the rb-r's if thats what they are

it would be interesting to see if these would work also..

i use dex cool

anything can fit. Thats really not the question. The question is, do you want to fab up the tunnel?
-
everything that is out will fit the ls3. Wiring would be just like a dbw ls2. Driving that car with a t56 and 4.10 is going to be worthless, you want lower gears.

Does anyone have or know where i would be able to get a patch panel for the typical battery are rust?

The LT1 is a chevy small block

Is a Volt gauge even really needed? I mean I think I'd notice it my lights were dimming and the engine was having trouble running. That would eliminate the need to find a slot for that pesky 4th gauge. Does anyone know where I could buy a pillar pod for my A pillar?
I do not believe anyone makes one. I thought i found someone on here that was making one out of one for a different car. Like a dsm or something.

What are you using for mounts? If you are using JohnsCars mounts:
"AC compressor mount and drive: New aluminum high efficiency compressor, made in Japan (serpentine belt drive). I do not supply or make the hoses except for factory air conditioned cars as there are too many variations. Most hydraulic hose or AC shops can make you a set when you drive the car to them. The GM factory AC compressor will not clear my mounts so I designed a custom unit. My package includes all mounting brackets and hardware, uses stock GM belt ,freight paid - $450.00. Hose set, drier, pressure switch for "280" models with factory air is now available, $200.00 (only with my A/C kit)."
If you are using custom mounts im sure you could use a stock bracket.

well thank you for chiming in. My reasoning is exactly the same.

1. 91 240sx 07 Corvette LS2 360whp/390tq
2. 02 Camaro t56
3. Fab'd my own mounts
4. Nothing to special about it. pretty easy swap
5. Started some time in the summer and got it doing burnouts at the end of summer.
6. J30 Diff, HKS Hypermax coilovers.
