Hey, Today I just bought a brand new Tremec TR3650 5 speed manual. The gearbox is rated at 360 lbft so it should handel my target 350-400hp. The gearbox is the one found in the BA ford falcon xr8 (which has a 290kw version i think)(it's an aussie car btw). It has the same input spline as the T5 and pretty much bolts right up to the 5L with minor modifications. The box cost me only $900AUD from a ford dealership, i am F@#$$ happy with it.

Hi all I have just started my swap, at the moment the plan is to swap a 91 5.0L windsor, with AFR heads forged pistons with a straight lpg setup into my 280zx. So far i have stripped the block (needs bore and grind) and taken out the old motor (I want to get as much done during the summer vac as possible). I am still trying to decide on what manual tranny to get for it (i'm aiming at 350+ hp) any suggestions? i would appretiate any tips you might have for me and here are some pics i have tacken Motor as i bought it the car the block engine coming out
