What about the horn button ring? There was a member making them but he doesn't seem to be active anymore.

johnc is correct, those are all very likely culprits to your problem. Even with that in mind, your car is for autocross and tires are going to get beat up. If it was a daily driver and those tires were meant to last 30 or 40 thousand I'd worry about it.

 

Check your alignment and suspension components in the front end and adjust as necessary, that should fix your problem. No matter what you'll have bad wear from autocross and putting high loads on the tire.

Have you checked rear drum adjustment? that as well as the pushrod from the booster to the master can influence pedal feel. If it feels as if it stopping correctly I would learn more towards drum adjustment. That's my .02
