Mine were from ebay last May and were close enough (90 miles away) that I avoided shipping costs. Be aware that there are different mounting configurations on the BMW seats. Mine are not mounted like the ones seen above and required a little more involved bracket to attach the stock Z seat runners. Welding was not necessary - everything bolts together. I'll post pictures if anyone is interested. The passenger seat went in yesterday and the driver's seat is a work in progress.

I am interested in seeing pictures of your custom seat brackets to adapt the BMW e30 sport seats to the stock Z seat runners. I recently aquired a pair of e30 sport seats and am looking to put them into my 73' 240Z.

Looks like a nice mount, do you happen to have any measurements for locating where the holes must be drilled? What size of plate did you use for the cross pieces and L brackets?
