  1. I have an early 260, so even less space, and the "massaging" was still pretty minimal. From what I have seen, I would guess that the 280 requires even less work. Pound out a little around the reverse lockout and you'll be good to go.
  2. I used the PSI harness and computer for my swap, very simple and absolutely no problems.
  3. I'm looking for a drivers side fender for my 260, doesn't have to be perfect. I am also trying to find a 3.36 R200 in case my R180 goes. Located in Palmdale, CA, in case anyone is nearby. Thanks.

    LS1 260Z

I'm working on the final assembly of my 260. Engine bay is painted, motor is mounted, and it runs. Now I just need to clean up the wiring to delete anything I'm not using, final mount various components, work out the intake, etc. The rest of the suspension is on its way, should be on the road in a few weeks.
  5. I used various sockets to press out the bushings, using a $90 harbor freight press. The hacksaw method previously mentioned works perfectly to reduce friction between the bushing sleeve and control arm, just make a few relief cuts to before pressing it out. I used a 2-1/4" hole saw to steady the arm while pressing, worked perfectly.

    260Z Resto-Mod

My 74 260Z throughout the restoration/modification process. This is my first project car and Z, but I have been wanting to build one these for a long time. The L26 is coming out and a LS1 is on its way.
